9/7/11 Alan talks snow dusting and ski passesThe first signs of winter can be seen on the mountain tops surrounding Arapahoe Basin! Cooler temperatures and moisture have left a light dusting on peaks above 12,000 ft. Snowmaking guns have not been turned on just yet but this dusting is a promising sign of things to come! Arapahoe Basin will begin snowmaking as temperatures cool for consistent periods of time. Arapahoe Basin expects to open mid-October.
